I'm a natural light photographer serving the Durham Region and the GTA.  I've been in business since 2009, and have had the honour of working with hundreds of newborns and families.

While completing my Bachelors Degree in Sociology, I completely fell in love with photography.  After the birth of my daughter in 2008, there were so many milestones that I wanted to freeze in time. It motivated me to pursue many avenues to help strengthen my photography skills. Shadowing other photographers, many sleepless nights full of research, and endless hours of learning taught me how to capture life's fleeting moments in a photograph.

Whether it becomes an album to flip through, or a canvas you'll proudly hang on your wall, I would love the opportunity to capture moments for you and your family to cherish for years to come.

I'm a mama, wife, photographer, and lover of food.

My kids are 10, 9 and soon to be 2!

I married my best friend. He makes me laugh every day.

We are a blended family and I wouldn't change a page of our story.

I originally went to school for Forensic Science. I graduated university with a degree in Sociology.

I have a love/hate relationship with my curly hair.

I enjoy sewing and building things, but rarely have time for it.

I love having fresh cut flowers in my home, though I'm notorious for waiting too long to toss them.

I'm obsessed with succulents, with over 30 plants in my home.

I frequently overuse exclamation points when writing emails.

You can usually find me sporting a messy bun and yoga pants every day of the week. Sometimes, a little mascara too.

I love spending time in my studio, even if it's just to enjoy a quiet coffee.

I fell in love with photography when I started shooting flowers in my parents yard.

My passion for photographing people began when I worked at a big box portrait studio.

I've travelled to Portland, Oregon and Indianapolis, Indiana to mentor with two of my idols.

Working with newborns is seriously the best job ever.

Meeting first time parents who are exploding with joy puts a smile on my face as soon as they walk into the studio.

It doesn't phase me when a newborn poops on me, a prop, or the studio floor.

Capturing children and families through raw, candid moments makes my heart so happy.

Every session is special to me. From maternity to birth, to newborns and families. Being chosen to capture those timeless moments is an incredible privilege.

Watching families grow in front of my camera, year after year, is such an honour.

I absolutely love what I do.
