Welcome to the studio! This room is my happy place. There is not a single thing in the studio that I don’t love… the light, the colours, my favourite antique pieces I’ve been collecting over the years. Every headband, blanket, crate and quilt has been personally curated to ensure your newborn’s portraits are timeless. Every parent that walks through the door has full access to everything they see on the shelves. Each session is styled to your vision and liking- from matching your little one’s nursery decor for a wall portrait to having a cohesive set of images to create a keepsake album. Each session is as unique as the little one I am photographing.

Visiting the studio for your little one’s Newborn Session might be the first outing with your baby, and sometimes some of the essentials get left at home. But don’t worry- I keep some must-haves on hand for this very reason. Diapers, wipes, a hair brush, receiving blankets and a nursing pillow are all available to use during your visit.

Wraps are used in many different ways during a session. Sometimes they add a layer of colour or texture to a prop, but most often, to swaddle your little one into a cozy, curled up pose, simulating their womb position. Most babies tend to relax and fall asleep once swaddled. There is always a co-ordinating bonnet or headband to match too!

During your little one’s Newborn Session, you get to sit back and relax! Unless baby needs to have a feeding, I take care of everything during your visit- including diaper changes!

During your visit, feel free to browse the gorgeous keepsake items on display. From albums and canvases, to framed wall portraits and birth announcements, there are a variety of items to suit all your needs. As a full service photographer, it is the goal of every session to turn your images into tangible products to last years to come.
